Great concept but the pattern of this skin is too busy and distracting. I took it off my Kindle again after trying it. My eyes were involved in a constant fight between the pattern and the text I was trying to read.

This is one single sheet of contact paper that only goes on the back of the kindle. If this is what you were looking for you have found the right product.

I have used this company’s products on many items – computers, iPods and Kindles – And have to give them high marks for quality and ease of use. Their products do EXACTLY what they say they will do. They adhere to your Kindle very easily and come off just as simply, without messy residue. The graphics are exceptional and very eye-catching (I’ve gotten quite a lot of comments on my Kindle2 with the bookshelf painting). Most importantly, they really do protect your Kindle from scratches.
If you plan on keeping your Kindle2 or KindleDX constantly in a form-fitting cover, then you may not need these, although they are still pretty cool. But if you ever expect to remove the Kindle from its protective cover, then these GeleSkins are the way to go with the style & protection you want for the back of your Kindle.

IF you order the smaller version of this for your kindle, you get the gelskins protection for both the back and front of your device. The larger, DX version only comes with a gel skin protective layer for the back of your device, not a cut out version for the front. Very disappointing, as that is not what the buyer is led to believe he/she will receive. Come on guys, really?
